Dennis Akakpo was born in Fort-de-france Martinique, where he has spent a part of his childhood before residing in the United States. When growing up, various life circumstances have had him to travel to several places, and had contact with a variety of cultures. He is actually living in Miami Florida.
Art is a gifted talent he has developed since his early age and has perfected through art school and participation in many small group art workshops and contests. His arts mostly involve oil in canvas, combining forms and tones with other ingredients to depict the beauty of the complexity of the human nature, and its overall interchanging environment.
